What a slippery slope! Coercian may come into play, but if you feel you would like to go on to your next life, then suicide is a viable option.

I suspect under this scenario that the Gestapo would give no such option.
You're right (well, in a well-run Gestapo). but the scenario offers one situation when suicide is an appropriate option.
