What planet is this pillock on? He's going to flat out lie to persuade the Senate gays shouldn't be allowed to serve openly? And another thing. We are at war in Afghanistan, what part of that doesn't require active combat capability? Face it, openly gay people are serving in combat zones and it's not causing any problems. They are just as capable of killing, peacekeeping, being killed, defusing bombs etc etc as anybody else.
This is reprehensible and I hope people pay as little attention to these comments as possible.
Unfortunately, even debate gives some credence to people like this- there are many here and in other parts of the world who are SO ignorant that the attention they seek is achieved resulting in self-gratification.
I haven't even seen the article, but can tell you this is complete horseshit...yup, complete horseshit. But oh so typical of the kind of bigotrunning the U.S. military. After all, it is a huge recruiting ground for White Supremacists; and racism frequently goes hand-in-hand with anti-gay bias.
That's right -- those minorities (black, hispanic, native American)sign up in larger percentages than the US popullation so that they can become white supremists to fit in within the evil US empire. Too they can't recruit the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan, that would certainly swell the white supremist ranks.
Do you EVER engage your brain before running your mouth>? Both the FBI AND Homeland Security have published a report on the dangers represented by White Supremacists and militia groups recruiting form military and ex-military personnel. Of course, it took them the better part of a decade to admit; the SPLC had been pointing it out to them for years.

I have to agree to the meat of this comment..
Overwhelming majority of opinions is the opposite, listening and attacking him gives his crap a lot more credibility and attention than he deserves. Why did the US Senate even give him time ?
