They're all garbage food......

Too much of nearly anything is not good.

Probably.

Popcorn isn't actually bad for you unless you drown it in butter and salt.

An uncle of mine suffered from diverticulitis for years. His doctor said too much popcorn. I love it but now I'll only eat it at the movies which is hardly ever since I usually wait until I can rent a DVD.

I had that and was told the same thing, also not too many nuts at one time--that and salad, all tend to stick in the colon crevasses.

Salad? I didn't know that. I thought vegetable fiber was good for you. Live n' learn. :)

It is but not when you have or had diverticulitis, another was prunes, I had a three page list.

Today I saw a show on TV (Galileo) and they tested snacks (or fingerfood) and it's said, that pork rinds are the chips with the lowest calories. But popcorn has less, even with butter. The snacks with the highest calories are peanuts and macadamia and pistachios.

Depends on how much you eat.
