According to Ben Bagdikian in "The Media Monopoly"(I haven't read the new revised edition yet), over 75% of all media outlets in the US--TV, newspaper, magazine, book publishing--are owned by 5 multi-national companies. Sounds like control to me.
I refer you to the ABC mini show titled The Path to 9/11 which aired once in the US and then due to unmentioned powers has not been shown again. Who is behind the squelching of this show?
