Amen! Israel receives far too much foreign aid, especially military aid which is being used for crimes against humanity. Not to mention much of that "aid" comes back to the US military industrial complex. Israel has a thriving economy why is the country on the dole?
We should stop all foreign aid, until all our issues are taken care of, and our budget is in a surplus. We all know that most of those countries that get foreign aid send part of that money else where, or just skim off the top, and put it in personal bank accounts.

Come on, if the purpose is to have more money for domestic aid, then don't target Arab countries as the ones to decrease foreign aid to. The only reason to decrease aid to Arab countries is out of a personal/national desire to enforce a vendetta.
I agree. Plus I think we need to cut aid to most countries and reinvest in the US, in particular universal health care. I want that portion of the 33% income tax helping me out.
since when do we have to support the rest of the world. when the tidal wave hit indonesia the world got on us for not giving more aid (yet we were the first ones there) yet when katrina hit the us the only country to help us was Mexico.
They should spend more time fixing thier own counties and stop bitching about us. If they want to hate us fine. let them. but I will be damned if i would give money to someone bitching at me.

The Invasion of Iraq has been so expensive that we could have given every single Iraqi citizen $19,000 as a bribe to let the US take over.
By the time the Invasion is over, that figure is likely to be in the neighborhood of $40-80,000 per Iraqi citizen.
The cost to the American citizens? Currently over $1500 per citizen, with expected totals in the $3k-6k per us citizen.
I can think of better things to have done with that money.
