The officer didn't seem to be able to understand that this woman was no threat. She reverted to some training they were given that did not fit the circumstances.
Looks like the police department in Columbus, Ohio might have a problem: http://bsnorrell.blogspot.com/2008/08/columbus-ohio-attack-on-long-walkers.html
OMG ! What next ! The police woman is using excessive force, get her off the force before she shoots someone.
No--they don't have a problem--but they would if the lady would have stabbed someone.

She was armed with a weapon, therefore she did pose a threat to herself and other people regardless of her age.
Recently in the USA an 88 year old white supremacist murdered several people in cold blood. If they hadn't looked upon him as a harmless senile old man maybe nobody would have died. Forcibly take them down.
Sorry, suzanna, if this goes to world vote on other sites respondents can't see the link. Marked inappropriate.

[1 point] 3 years ago by deleted user ReplyI agree--can a old woman kill you any less than a young one?? We have no idea what went on to have the police called, what about the 5 minutes before the video?? I am on the side of the cops here, play the game and pay the price--age is not discriminated against.
