No limits on free speech!

I voted "no limits on free speech" because someone, somewhere, is so thin-skinned they are likely to take offense even when no maliciousness whatsoever was intended... for example people tried to make President Obama look like a villain when all he did was make a self-deprecating quip about Special Education and his own low bowling score. Were his critics really advocates of Special Ed, or were they just sore-loser republicans who were on the lookout for any way possible to make Obama look bad in the eyes of as many as possible?

Well... their tactics didn't work... anyone smarter than a Special Ed kid saw right through their loathsome ploy. XD

I voted "Yes, to the way humor is brought" - to me free speech is holy but I draw a line at things like racism and hate preaching. The problem is that someone making "humor" could claim his hate preaching is actually "humor" and should not be seen like I do with my obvious lack of humor. That still leaves ample room for things like tasteless humor, insulting humor and so forth.

Then we have problems on how to judge and enforce it, I say allow all, just expose the bigotry and make fun of the bigots in return.

Not necessarily, we have judges who could determine if that is the case. The issue if free speech should really mean that you can say anything (be it in humor or not) is hotly debated over here. Especially since we have a politician who says bad things about muslims and we have some imams / muslims and some christian right wing politicians saying bad things about homosexuals. Last week the politician saying things about muslims had to appear in court.
