By all means, stay in college as long as possible. It beats the real world by a mile.

In today's economy college is the best place to be. Stay in school if it will help you get the job you want, hopefully one that will generate an income for years to come. Life will be more enjoyable if you're doing something you like.

Always follow what you feel drawn to. I had a a boss once who said - follow your drams and the money will take care of itself.

My Brother did a course in one thing had a computing compulsory paper which he wouldn't have taken if he hadn't had to discovered he loved it and qualified in his major but made all his elective papers computing and now works happily in the industry.

I don't believe you should stay in higher education forever but to give you the chance at something you love - go for it!

Yeah, right. Tell that to all those Art History majors. They are really pulling down the big bucks, right?

Art history majors can become gallery owners, art auction specialists and art authenticators. All do well at the top; just as in any hundred other professions.

But it's a really SMALL top. ;o)

Wouldn't it be nice if this were an education question. But it's not, it's a financial question. Can you afford another $30,000+ of debt added to the nearly $120,000 you most likely have, to be able to do something you enjoy? Or, if you attend a public university, halve those numbers.

follow your passion !

Get your Bachelor's as soon as possible, then get your Master's in your passion. A Bachelor's degree is kind if like a dog's pedigree. Without the pedigree, you can't get in the dog show.

That all depends. If you are say, 5 years into Electrical Engineering and you want to change to Art History, then I would say no.

I been i that situation and it's hard, but I would say finish your master and then study somehting different.Good luck
