That's not what they do.
But what if they did?
Why should they?
I bet the fishermen would LOVE to see one of those ripping across a lake. The sound I would expect them to make would get them banned before anyone ever actually HEARD one. (lol) And on the ocean they'd bring the sharks from MILES around ...

I s'pose diversification worked well for Yamaha; all the different things they do seem to be popular. Dunno if they should bother with electric pianos, but I imagine just the gimmick factor of a Harley jetski would shift a few units early on, and if it's a good product....they should probably not do it until after they make a sports bike though.
Also, what if this jetski could turn without having to give it gas (yes... a unique jet ski)
If they are using new and unique technology, it would be an even more interesting addition to the market. If they produce a good product, I think it can only help them, if the product is not good, not only would they have that to contend with but there would be the inevitable "should've stuck to what you know" mockery - R&D has to be really good. I must say, I kind of think the idea is rather cool.
