goverments have no money. So the question is should they take money from old people (like me) and give it to young people (like you)?

Um ... tough call .... let me think about it ... um ....

So they can buy more ipods, text message phones, game controllers, amplifiers for the boom boxes, etc.

No.

No. Young people should work, pay taxes and save a little. I can't imagine being given anything without working for it.....a pay check.

Hey its not that simple - governments take money from young people too - not just 'old' people. When kids by CDs, download music, buy toys, video games, etc - they pay taxes as part of those costs (its callled VAT). Have they have part time jobs they get taxed too, So if they contribute why can't they havre their share?

A very valid point! I think some people are just sterotyping young adults as people who only care about games, boom boxes, and iPods. But I think we would be spending it on university, our first home, our own insurance things and stuff like that. Can't live off our parents forever.

Youth is wasted on the young.

Why compound that by wasting money too?

Again Asroc you make an excellent point.

My proposal is that no one be admitted to a University, or other institution of higher learning, until they reach the age of 28.
