Hey baccioly, it's a great idea and we've talked a bunch inside the company about how we might implement it. Basically when you went to the home page we'd try to detect what native language your browser is using, and then show questions to you in that language if they've been translated. Questions that haven't yet been translated would have a "translate this question" link so users could help us out. The biggest challenge to the idea is wrong translations, and how the rest of the community could help us arrive at the best translations.
Maybe it is too much, but I would add a Reliability module... maybe based on how long people are signed up or maybe a reputation (wuffie) one-click-statement made by people from that region.
But...
To keep it simple - and from a time-to-market point of view - I would go for a humble dropdown with Language options (maybe even a dropdown allowing multiple-selection) where the user could choose what to see. And another dropdown in the "question-generator", where the user could indicate the desired language for that question.
We could talk about this some more if you want to. Just e-mail me or add my email to your gTalk and we can chat.

The most important thing, I think, is to keep the user experience as great as it is now.
People who speaks english and wants to keep using the interface in english shouldn't be affected by any of this.
My guess is that a lot of portuguese, french and spanish speaking people would sign up after the inclusion of a simple language-dropdown.
You did a great job so far! I know you are going to get to the best solution =)
Hey baccioly, thanks. I agree that making sure we keep things simple will be the key.
