By coincidence this just happened near where I live. A guy asked his "friend" to look after his toddler and lent him his car while the guy was at a meeting. The "friend" didn't go where he was supposed to. Instead he went to a part of downtown where the needle exchange is and left the car unlocked while he went to score drugs. The cops who were walking a beat heard the baby cry and 45 minutes later when the "friend" came back ripped, the cops arrested him and he's been charged with child endangerment. I think they should throw away the key on this dude.
