Yes, there are a lot of "undecided" votes on questions that I cannot believe someone would be undecided about. I often wonder how many people just click on the given answers and never, never type a comment. Maybe they are shy like me?

Huh? Hitler persecuted people for their religion as well as Stalin. I would not be able to pick who was worse, both of them are responsible for tens of millions of people.
Hard to tell, over 60 million ppl died in ww2 11 million in the German death camps. Stalin during the great purge killed 2 million. To me those number are incomprehensible and I would have to call them equally evil.
The numbers are staggering, but if I called one worse then the other I would have to think that one was better then the other and no matter how hard I tried, I can't do that.
You can say that again, what makes a good mass murdering dictator anyway. They only killed 5 million and not 10 million. Hitler certainly broke the mold, but I wouldn't say Stalin was better, or Mao was better, I am sure those who lived under their rule would agree.
It wasn't a single people, as Hitler, it was more trying to eradicate other Slavic identities in the region and mold them into one identity, the Soviet identity. Sounds similar to the Aryan aspirations of Hitler come to think of it. Although, the Czars has been guilty of that too.

I think Stalin wins on body count IIRC, about 4 to 1, maybe more.
