To clearify a few things....

1. Topic of converstation in class was does culture, way we are raised have anything to do with the way our parents teach us personal Hygiene as we are growing up. Such as does wiping forwards or backwards, contribute to ones personal hygiene.

2. It would mainly go for women, but men can answer as well.

3. My Masters that I am working on has to do with infectionous diseases and this class talks about all types of crazy things, so I thought best way to get peoples opinions would be to ask. It was said in class today that women of certian cultures that wipe back to front tend to have more odor smells and catch more infections, such as baterial and viral due to the way they were taught to wipe. I am not asking bc I want everyone to devolge there hidden secerts but I was asking because I was curious to see what others take on this was.Sorry if I offended anyone.

I think they want to know how you wipe your behind when you go to the bathroom and do #2. ;-)

are you asking women or men...that would make a difference

It doesn't make much difference for men. The theory is that women can get infections by wiping back to front.

I wonder how many wipe with their left hand. (per Muslim custom)

It's part of the Muslim Health code, like not eating pork.

Both, but mainly woman since we have to wipe for both

Well sure it makes a difference, that's why there's two choices.
