Insurance companies? Or do they come under "special interest groups"?

A mistake to lump Doctors and Lawyers together! Doctors charge what they can, as dictated by Medicare and the Insurance Industry, and must, as required to insure themselves against the actions of bottom-feeding lawyers.

I wish I could separate the Doctors from the Lawyers and provide an option for Insurance Companies....but with the limitation of the Ask500People, this is the best I could do.

Another choice should be the free healthcare. I am not referring to Medicaid. Hospitals cannot turn anyone away, and with all the litigation, they are afraid not to do all tests imaginable.

I'd have put insurance cmpanies at the top of the list (and that is not the place of honor)

Politicians are as much to blame as the Doctors/Lawyers. They are all in it together to make each other wealthy. The US really needs a universal health care system much like the rest of the world has adopted. I am not one to push Micheal Moore .. but his movie 'Sicko' makes many good points on this.

I agree with Daever. It'd be easy to single out one baddie if the others were fighting against that baddie. But they've all contributed.
