Hard to say, I have met nice people in (and from) all these continents. I think most people are friendly in general. I do think in public places like restaurants in North America the friendly attitude is often very superficial (they where told by their boss to be friendly), while in Asia I sometimes feel being "polite" is also part of the culture. And politenes is easy to mistake for friendlynes when you come from a more direct culture like the Dutch. I voted for South America, perhaps because I lived so long in Europe that I also came across my share of unfriendly people over here.

I met nice people from all continants, I'd say Europe, Asia & South America tied.
