Just reaffirming their viewpoint in case they wanted to go. I haven't found a cause for the attack yet, but I think it will be interesting to see why he did it. Abortion? Triangle? Disgruntled parishioner? Molestation? Who knows.
Considering all the things the OT God did to keep his chosen people alive, you would not have thought gettign the gun to jam BEFORE he shot the preacher would have been too much to ask for from the current big guy in charge really.
Doesn't really inspire you to join the fan club if he can't even look after his own crew!
You missed the point. Have you ever heard of Judas? I would not stop going to a solid church because someone tried to disrupt things...join the fan club? There is not much of a comment for your naive perspective.
Ah Judas, now there's an interesting character if ever there was one.
Christians following St paul (which is to say 99.99% of christians of today), believe Jesus' purpose was to come to earth to be killed so that all out sins could be forgiven, even ones we have not done yet ... as long as we are sorry and say the right words etc ... but I digress, he came to die.
Now Judas was one of the 12 closest men to jesus, a friend, loyal supporter, all round decent fellow.
Now of all the disciples and followers, Judas does the most to see that this "divine mission" is carried out.
So hey, nice one Jude! What a star! You will be known for all time as a hero of the first order!
err no actually - you poor sucker, you will become the most hated man in history.
I'm a 40 year resident of South Florida, just outside Fort Lauderdale. I've enjoyed watching the area change due to immigration. A lot of it good, some of it bad. But, I realized a long time ago that there is good and bad in every nationality, religion....you get the drift. I have become interested in the Scottish Premier League and in the English Premier League. In the SPL, I root for Heart of Midlothian as my family is from Edinburgh. In the EPL, I cheer for Liverpool as their owners also own the Boston Red Sox. Fenway Park in Boston holds many fond memories of growing up and my young adult life. And, as always, you can e-mail me at odessaphiles@gmail.com....

One thing that amazed be was the "this has not happened since July" statement, like shooting folks in a church was an everyday event!
I can never remember anyone beign shot in church in England (does not mean it did not happen btw, just that I can't remember!)
How does one answer if they didn't particularly want to go before this?

Militant Athiest? Common psycho? Glory hound? Spawn of Satan?
Many possibilites at this point.
I thought spawns of satan couldn't enter holy ground! :O
