On Napkins and Nature... Should we use fabric napkins or paper napkins? Ask a Question

Paper. Not only to preserve water, also to disminish the use of chemicals which are needed to wash.

i dont think fabric would absorb as well as paper does. How about using recycled paper napkins??

Anything that's chucked away (to landfill, not compost I bet) has got to be worse that anything that's used again and again.

paper: uses trees

recycled paper: many uses of one tree (good)

Cloth: saves trees but water and ditergent must be used to wash (ok if using a front loader or other high effeciance washer
