Pretty much by definition, since if they are, in fact, "Nazi imitators" and one of the planks of the Nazi party was racial purity; they are, if not racist, at least racist imitators. I suspect it would be hard to tell the difference in practice.

Your comments are a rare gem. Similar to if it looks like a ------ and smells like a ----- most likely its a -----. I cain't remember what the ------- was but you get the drift.
Some are definitely racists and this is their outlet. Most if not all of the holocaust deniers are. But some just like the uniforms much as some enjoy dressing up as Imperial Stormtroopers from Star Wars, or Confederate or Union solders from the US civil war. Some just like the historic aspects.

Not that many WWII reenactments just yet, but I guess I could follow your reasoning because I doubt that every Confederate soldier in a reenactment is racist. They may just live in the south or that is where they were assigned that weekend.
It is a very tough sell though. And one should probably avoid Nazi regalia in almost all situations.

if you immitate a racist behaviour and you think of it as an icon and you want to follow their ways it makes you a racist too, I don't see the difference.

Of course they are. Did you forget the shooting at the Holocaust Museum last week already?
Of course not. This question is a reaction to similar questions posted by rightists / wrongists.
