Would you consider the Vietnamese peasant who rescued McCain a patriot a hero or an idiot?

I think labeling that peasant is a good exercise for you, but you are correct that I am not interested to hear what you think about the guy.

It does tie in with my next question for you though and again I am not interested in your answer. How does it feel to walk around with that much hate for half of the population?

Now this is just meant as an exercise for you, I won't be upset if you chose to ignore it.

Biased question -- try again if you really want people's opinions, or do you just want to use this as a soapbox.....

There is a statement and people can agree or disagree. Looking at the results, it would appear that people are responding with their opinions.

Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran, a Republican, reflected the views of many of his colleagues earlier this year when he said:

"The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine...He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."

It sounds a bit like McCain-slapping to me. Even though that could be an agreeable sport and I do believe politicians put themselves at the spot for it I do not feel I should lower myself to such tactics.
