I would damn sight rather test them than vice versa, or do you prefer another 9-11?

Soooo - let's just go ahead and bomb everybody just in case they might want to bomb us?

Hey - let's go ahead and arrest every man. Potential child molester.

Silly, silly, you persist in being silly. Be better than your name.

Here's a scenario for you to consider:

Testing us -- North Korea continues with its nuclear program, develops sufficient numbers of warheads and missiles to give South Korea an ultimatum -- join us or suffer the consequences, and as a demonstration, explodes a warhead in the DMZ>

Testing them -- Economic sanctions imposed on North Korea weakens the hold of the dictator (who is ill) on the country, and upon his death, a revolution occurs and North Korea evolves into a more democratic country and as a concession to receive economic aid, dismantles its nuclear program.

Which outcome would you prefer ?

Second outcome - true socialism, just like after the fall of the Berlin wall, where the power of the people triumph over the oppressors.

So, you are saying that the socialist were the reason for the removal of the Berlin wall, a wall erected by their fellow socialists?

nah, that's over simplifying things

Then you must be aware that Socialism is not the triumph of the people over any alleged government oppressors, but the placing the power to regulate all phases of your life into the hands of the government, who would then actually be the oppressors.

not really.

you should read up on the subject

north korea had no nuclear program. they tested bush by starting one. and they won. now they have nuclear bombs and missiles.

good job there, bush.

it is just a stroke of luck that the millions of tons of nuclear materials have not gotten into the wrong hands. bush stopped all efforts to get those nukes under control.

thanks bush.

This makes no sense.

That attitude will get another Iraq, remember "mission accomplished"?

You would have been a good candidate for Neville Chamberlain's negotiating team.

Fractal, where have you been? Good to have you back.
