How can you have a captain who selfish actions cause the manager selection problems? Wayne Bridge doesn't want to play with him now, and who can blame him? Should England win the World Cup that would elevate Terry to a position along side Bobby Moore. He isn't worthy of this honour!!
Could you elaborate on what happened or link to a story? The only scandal I could find was that he cheated on his wife, and this doesn't seem to be about that?
Yes it is about that. He cheated on his wife with a woman who was, at the time, the girlfriend of one of his team mates. Oh sorry, he allegedly did that - don't want to get sued.
The centre of the argument about whether he should continue as England captain is 1: he is in a position as a role model and has behaved like a shit and 2: how can he be the "leader" of a group of players when he would act to betray one in the way he did.
