I know! Damn those media types! If they had their way they'd have you believing that killing is a BAD thing!
I can't help but feel that we are being deliberately exposed to such extremely idiotic and dangerous ideas so that when we hear ideas that are only mildly idiotic and dangerous we find them more acceptable.
e.g
BAN ALL MEDIA WAR-REPORTING -> That's awful, no way!
CENSOR ALL MEDIA WAR-REPORTING -> Well, I suppose that's better than banning it outright.
...and it would get rid of all that tiresome training they have to go through to be embedded so that they are scared out of their wits and believe that their only hope of survival is the military unit they are posted to.
