I think it's dangerous to teach the kid that it's normal to be kissed on the lips - in case other people kiss...
Of course it's normal! It's a baby! Seriously, as long as there isn't any tongue in that kiss, it's fine.
But for some people, kissing children on the lips is a cultural thing, either a 'always' or 'never' thing.
But with no major religious or cultural influences on me, I'm fine with it and don't see it as a danger at all.

My aunts always did that to us kids.Short and quick. I used to call them old lady kisses.:)
What's wrong with a quick peck. Actually, it's more dangerous for us - 1 year-old can be drooly; blech!
