The Xbox 360 arguably has better games/on-line gaming, but the physical box itself is a piece of crap. Everyone I know who has one has had it break and needed to replace it at least once. Many more than once, and one poor sole is on his 6th box.
The PS3 gives you more for your money from the hardware. But as mentioned before while it has great games, arguably the best games are on Xbox 360 now.
