Worked for all the previous generations.
YES!
yes... also child labor and no internet/tv/fridge/... and "women in the kitchen" and a lot of other things worked for several generations. does it mean we should keep it like this and don't look forward?
I'm not sayin' that u should spank ur kids 4 every little thing, just when they misbehave badly,b/c some kids will not respond to anything but a 'pop' on the hand.
:)
Sure they respond, but that doesn't mean they learn anything.
Sure they do, they learn not to do it again!
Didn't we just have this question? Like... twenty minutes ago?
yeah, funny, hu? but seems as if "we" voted it up again, otherwise it wouldn't be on frontpage.
We've added the ability to search the site (in the menu bar at the top), hopefully this will help to reduce duplicate questions.
I don't support child beating.
Spank em'- would have probably prevented Columbine.
or it was because of ...
I think it always very depands on the case.
IF your Dad is an alcohlic and spanks u for nothing, could be another Columbine comes up.
IF u r a very headstrong child and ur does not give u the right direction (sometimes by spanking) could also be another Columbine.
In brief: we all are human, no one is perfect, but the appropriable unit of spanking or not should be the right way.
BUT this is in every Dads hand itself, mostly determined by his Dad... (notice: if i just write Dad does not mean Mom is excluded)
Let's just get one thing straight ... spanking your child is NOT the same as physically abusing your child. There is a fine line that ends at wanting to punish them, and wanting to take your anger out on them.
I believe in spanking, but not when you are angry, and not every time. Only as the ultimate punishment.
