If, as he points out, 'regularly' to the respondent means twice a day, respondent is likely to answer 'no'. Again, if 'regularly' to the respondent means 'once a year', then again the answer may be 'no.' In either case, the respondent may believe that it is normal for girls to masturbate.

People really need to understand how to form a question.
By stating regularly at the end, your defeating the question.
One person might think regularly is once a month while another would say 3 times a day.
It's like saying, "Is it normal to watch an average amount of television?"
Of coarse it is, because it's average...
I am more concerned with the question itself.

I think so...and I hope so.
I can't speak from personal expereince, but from what I have heard and read it seems a widespread passtime.
It seems to me that masturbation in general is a very natural thing to do.
Also, from a safe sex point of view, it si about as safe as you can get, and your mind makes a wonderful sex partner :)
You notice more men answered this than women...ummmmmm
