No. My wife takes prescription allergy medication. Occasionally she will get a free sample of a new or different allergy medication. So, she has an opportunity to find one that works better for her, without having to pay for it.
My dad has had the same thing happen to him with his blood pressure medication as well.
If a new or different medicine works better for you that the one you normally take then I cant see how that is a bad thing.
