It is proven, it never has and never will be!

If more people knew how to control a gun then we wouldn't have to teach the criminals how to use them.

I think you should clarify it by country. I don't think it would be effective for years and years in the US - Wyatt Erp just died in 1929. How is Brittan doing in this area?

Clearly, in places with very few guns, there is very little gun crime.

Earlier this year the Supreme Court finally said gun ownership is a private right. Soon it will be asked to decide how much that right can be infringed (Bill of Rights says it shall not be.) It is quite a conundrum. Even the most rabid gun lovers don't believe there can be absolutely no gun control, or do they?

"Feudin', afussin' and afightin', sometimes it really gets excitin'! We'll give our daughter a pistol, now that she's four, and go feudin' and fussin' some more!"

Your videos do nothing to make my first sentence incorrect, since they don't address places with very few guns. We know you love your guns, you've written about them plenty. I don't think you're any threat to me out there in Guam.

If there were no guns in Guam, you surely would not feel threatened by gun crime, that was my point. Certainly I think all guns are a threat, even my own, that's why I keep them as safe as possible, and why you keep telling all potential robbers about yours. I watched the video, and it does not address the potential of reducing gun crime by eliminating the criminal possession of guns, merely how victims can level the playing field with an armory of their own.

It has been said that if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns.

British politicians made a stupid knee-jerk law against gun ownership by the public after a tragic, but isolated, incident where a looney shot up a school full of kids in Scotland.

It was so far reaching that even our Olympic shooting team had to give up their guns!

Currently gun crime is at an all time high in Britain, especially in the drug supply area and street gangs. Even kids are shooting each other now.

For some odd reason politicians spend most of their time ignoring the public, and on the odd occasion they do take noticem, they react without any real long term thought, and totally mess things up.

It's time to repeal the 2nd amendment.

It's as effective as drug control.

Throwing trillions of good dollars after bad for a losing "war" on drugs to incarcerate more "criminals".

legalise drugs, and prostitution, get rid of the criminal element and make good tax money at the same time!

Come on Jon, it's not rocket science!

Sell drugs legally in drug stores, at a reasonable price (just like they used to before you guys decided it was a bad idea, and conned us into following suit) and who is going to risk meeting a dealer down a dark alley to buy god-knows-what in a plastic bag, for whatever price they decide you look like you can pay ...

You managed to do it with booze after that silly mistake, follow the same plan!

Frankly, they could help a lot just by making it legal to grow your own, which would help keep the prices down below profitable for crime.
