Part myth, part good old-fashioned lie.

Sure, like the round earth is a myth.

The round(ish) earth theory is supported by all observations. Global warming is the outcome of manipulated computer models and is NOT supported by all observations. Can't see any equivalence at all.

So? You are ignoring a half-century of evidence. Not ONE paper in support of NO global warming has been published in a peer-reviewed journal. Not ONE of the hundred or so disciplines which have a connection to climate says differently. Not one. Only the nut-case fringers, and 'scientists' who have no connection to climate studies/and or also decry evolution, support the no-warming idea.

And, despite pictures from space, there are sill flat-earthers. I see it as completely congruent.

Of course you do. You're delusional! :-)

It is not a myth. At worst it is confused science. Probably (95%) it is real. Scientists are not "creating" this crisis. Whether or not you believe humans perturbed it, the earth's climate is not static, and we will have to learn how to live with the changes or to modify it to our preference. But the science on the optical properties of gases is quite clear, and there is no reason to think that the increased release of greenhouse gases will NOT cause the surface of the earth to warm up.

Your facts are wrong.

Depends on what "global warming" means to you.

* Do I believe that the Earth’s temperature changes and fluctuates naturally? Yes, we know for a fact that it does.

* Do I believe that we (humanity) can have an individual impact? Yes.

* Do I believe we are the dominate factor affecting climate change or "global warming"? Probably not.

* Do I think we can control climate change? Not at all.

* Do I believe in polluting the environment? No.

If anything, it's at least a good excuse to get our asses in gear with taking care of the environment.

Yeah, but let's not hold people and businesses ransom with phoney cap n trade taxation. Yes, let's protect our environment, but don't punish people.

No, it's not. There are many far superior reasons to take care of the environment.

Of course, but that's what I always tell my roommate (who doesn't believe in global warming).

Let's just say "I know that I know nothing" :)

All of you can argue about Global Warming, but down here We know the weather has changed.

Where I live trees 300+ year's old have been cut down because they have died and are dangerous.

Our parks have lost 900 trees in Melbourne.

We have 30% drinking water in our dams and Summer is coming.

We are building the largest deselination plant in the southern hemisphere.

Of course the weather has changed. It always has and it always will.

Well done the Aussie Senate for throwing out Rudd's stupid 'global warming' bill.
