Actually, Bill Gates is the wealthiest American ever.

Rockefeller was just a bandit in Brooks Brothers clothing, so to speak. That is why the history books refer to him as a robber baron.

Nobody can compete John D...we can examine facts - John D had a Standard Oil company which brought him fabulous profits and he with other bankers established Fed.He would have 190 billions of Dollars on todays calculation - and thats only the official info.Unofficial he had a tremendous profits from Fed and other business.Bill Gates is nothing against him...

A college degree is part of the admission in most fields. Entering a job search without a degree is like entering a dog show without a pedigree, I don't care how good looking your mutt is, you can't enter him.

I think you are just measuring importance in the amount of money a person makes - obviously you can become rich without a degree (though good education will in general help). But college/university is important in many more ways.
