People here are very very very touchy. Everything has to be politically correct beyond a shadow of a doubt. I didn't have a shadow of a doubt that your question was fine -- and my vote helped put our President in office -- I think others here mark something inappropriate if they even *think* someone *might* be offended.
The only option you have is to keep reposting the question until the numbskulls that marked you inappropriate go to bed for the night. On the weekends when very few polls get posted here you will have an excellent chance of going global.
BTW there is no way any evening anchor on MSNBC would ever say anything racist about our President ... not Matthews, not Olbermann, not Maddow. No way. Period. I have been watching MSNBC for years and know that that's a fact!

"I forgot he was black tonight for an hour. He’s gone a long way to become a leader of this country and past so much history in just a year or two. I mean it’s something we don’t even think about.
"I was watching and I said, wait a minute, he’s an African-American guy in front of a bunch of other white people and there he is, President of the United States, and we’ve completely forgotten that tonight — completely forgotten it."
Sounds to me a lot like what Martin Luther King Jr. wanted:
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. "

Isn't that what Martin Luther King Jr. was striving for? "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
Don't understand why this was removed by community. Valid question -- does it imply that being black has a negative connotation ?

Here's the complete quote:

Answer to poll: NO... of course NOT. Duh. :)

Well have you ever heard someone say
" I forgot he was white ......he's gone along way...."?
Of course he said something racist without wanting to- but it is what it is, color was the issue. Poor Chris!
