None of these things. What is it with you and stereotypes?
because we are doing a project on australian stereotypes
Interesting, but not sure which stereotype "G'day mate" is supposed describe...
its just something one of my group members did. he is a bit of a doushe :D
I think the most common stereotype of Australians is loud, good-natured, down-to-earth people who enjoy beer and barbecues.
A Texan with a funny accent.
I have seen many references to Australians and fat. Well before anybody starts calling Australians fat they need to be reminded that the U.S.A is still the fattest country in the world and the fattest by a long shot. I have talked to many people who have friends from other countries ( including Australia ) and every one of them have said ( as they walk into the terminal in the U.S.A ) that they have never seen so many fat people in their lives. So what is this latest craze about calling Australians fat?
it is because we have less people but a higher pectenage of overweight people. USA probably have more fat people but not in regards to the population
Are you actually saying that per capita Australia is now the fattest country?
Yeah, basically.
I heard it is China.
But it seems there are as many different opinions as there are countries,
China isn't even on this scale ?
