All the advertising hype aside, what it boils down to is that they have very high standards, which they spend the money to meet, and make everything fresh, including the BUNS!
"In fact, we don’t even own a microwave, heat lamp, or freezer."
It is family-owned, so they don't have to lower standards to meet stockholder expectations of return on investment.
Damn! I visited California 3x in the 1980's (at least 10 days each trip) and nobody ever told me about 'em. :-(
I assembled potato peelers( for the ff's) for In-N-Out for about 7 years but never had a burger from them or the other. :(
Not fair!
The only way to get a better burger is to grow your own cow.
