I wondered why Georgia tried to go into the breakaway provinces, knowing full well Russia would intervene. Now I hear that McCain top advisor has ties with the Georgian government and McCain visited the place three times himself.
On a side note, I have no idea who is right or who is wrong in the conflict and the stories of ethnic cleansing make me sick to be honest.
