The food machine is choice #1... ya gotta eat. :)
Sadly they didn't include a fusion power cell so that it could work.

True you must feed but you have tools to use for hunting and other activities such as growing you own veggies and mushrooms. So you can have a fun time doing your daily tasks and growing food for the community
