My Mum has lost her sight and hearing, but her smell and taste are acute.
She has avoided getting sick from overdue food that has been prepared by her partner.
Her partner can't smell or taste, but he can see and hear.
I could not exist without the ability to hear music.
thats exactly why i chose to keep hearing
I just love death metal but I also can't imagine my life without reading. I'd miss my sight the most.
you could perhaps learn to read in Brail...so then you wouldn't have to give up listening to music.
There's also books on tape...
I know... The problem is that I read really fast and I don't believe that I could learn to read Brail so fast. I also have heard some of taped books and realised it would take me to slow to get through the book.
