If you're in bed and a client calls at an ungodly early hour and you have to run across the hall to your office and you are in your underwear, do you tell your client to wait five minutes while you put on some clothes, or do you just get on the computer, pull up his/her file, and get the information they asked for?
To make your client wait while you put on some clothes seems dumb and quite inconsiderate to me.

Are you presuming work-at-home people are alone? I frequently have other folks with me.
I work alone (usually).
I wouldn't get any work done...I would be too distracted ;-)
