With the world getting fatter this is only a temporary measure. I wouldn't mind if it led to airlines making all seats bigger. On long flights it's tiresome. Personally, I find crying children and children hanging over the seat in front, and perverts letching on you much more of a problem. And, also people who want to talk when you don't want to.
It's wrong to hate people based on the color of their skin, the sex they are born, the religion they practice. Fat people are the only politically correct hate-able group.
Never mind if an illness made them that way, or they have a genetic predisposition that keeps them from metabolizing food properly, or anything else. We "hate" them "for their own good." And secretly we're pleased we've found someone we can feel superior too and smugly display our disdain, dislike and disgust OPENLY towards. Humans LIKE to feel superior to their fellow humans. Mankind doesn't change - just the group of humans that it's politically correct to hate.
Back in the 1920s - skinny, flat chested women were the fashion. Women with big boobs were considered disgusting and likely of "loose morals." At least THAT fashion changed. Now the fashion is for women to have the body of a boy with giant plastic bags of saline or silicone stuck under the skin of their chests.
you prick. If someone has an illness they can't control or if they weigh a few more pounds/stone as most people then it is unethical and morally wrong for them to be charged more.
And by the way you insensitive jerk, Not everyone "hates" people that don't fit into your perfect little world. So the next time you see someone that isn't the size of a twig, you think about what could have happened to them or what illness they could have because not everyone thinks the way you do. And another thing, Over weight people tend to have larger breasts but of course you were to busy looking as their stomach and judging them on that rather then their brain or personality.

No, it would just be an incentive for airlines to make the seats even smaller.
