Bloody good question. Would like to know how the rest of the world gets on
I know most in Europe have much more than we do in the US
Our firm gives 21 days and after long service, it increases to 25 working days. :-)
I believe the norm in the US is 10 days. Will see what the poll tells us ;-)
I'm a teacher, but technically i'm not employed during those times.
BTW that's over 2 months vacation plus spring and christmas breaks.
I am in a salaried job that gets a very unusual 4+ weeks, but my job is with a company that has an "on" season and an off season, so the off season quiet time is more than compensated by the insanity-no-sleep aspects of the "on" season.
35 days + 10 days ETO (for working an extra 20 minutes/day)... but I've been there 29 years.
