Reverse that.
"If it's ILlegal to drink alcohol at 16......."
So do you think 16 is too young for all those things? Why? (Can't you drive at 16 in America too?)
That you can drive at 16 is a good enough reason not to have drinking at 16.
But the fact is that alcohol has a greater effect on younger people, who's brains don't actually fully develop until their mid 20s. And I believe that smoking should be illegal at all ages..so I dunno.

I agree that you shouldn't be able to have a baby at 16. Young people are dumb and will raise retarded children. There are already too many people in the world.

I'm undecided. On one hand, if its legal to have a baby and leave home, then surely it makes sense to be able to drink and buy cigarettes, (especially as you can drive at 17)
However...
Is there also the question that if alcohol and cigarettes are aged at 18, should the others be raised to there too?????
