I have to side with Jonmarc on this one - I am neither conservative nor christian and would gladly donate my dollar / euro to save a starving Dauguy - yet it made me curious too, how will my (relatively small amount of) money make the difference between life and death? I suppose this is a theoretical question and Dauguy is doing just fine so I feel fine asking this question. I guess Jonmarc did the same. Just my "2 cents".

Hi Silly, to satisfy your curiosity; I am Dutch. I have red the "two cents" remark often in discussions, perhhaps it even suits me as a Dutchmen since the Dutch are said to be greedy....lol.
I am involved with an aid organisation for poor people, often in third world countries, I find it amazing what can be done with a little money as well. The amounts of money that really make a difference there are so small over here in the rich part of the world.
