I think they view them as an inferior race or slaves, not sure which. Personally I disagree to the way they are treated over there, except Turkey, I think it's rather ok there, it seams like a civilized country.

That, of course, has nothing to do with the way Muslim women are ACTUALLY treated. Kinda like Christians who devoutly believe that women should be completely subordinate to their husband, despite Christ's very straightforward treatment of women as equals.
