Actually the Groucho quote is: "I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member." The difference is subtle, but it makes the difference between being witty and self-effacing and being biting and full of self-loathing.
What kind of person are you anyway? The question doesn't fit the discription.
Groucho Marx made the statement; actually the quote is; "I don't want to belong to any club that will accept people like me as a member."
Which I find clever beyond words and irresistibly charming ;-)

Yeah! But Groucho was a comedian that went out of his way and to some really wild extremes to make people laugh.
What’s your point?
It's just a clever statement, and a favorite of my physics professor so I have heard it a few times.
Do enjoy your day~
