yea, like if we all believed that we were going to live on Mars in the next few decades, it would happen because there's no resistance. But the amount of people that might believe there are little green men under the surface does not make it more likely.
There are a hell of a lot of people who think it is OK to abuse children, but that does not make it any more true than if just one person believed it.
If you are referring to the situation where myth is repeated so much that it becomes accepted as fact, again, even if everyone believed it, it would still be myth.
All those people who believed in Greek, Roman, Norse, or Egyptian gods did not make them exist. Likewise with modern religions.
Most European people used to believe that the Earth was the center of the solar system. Most Chinese people used to believe that they were the Middle Kingdom between Heaven and Earth, and that their rulers were divine. Most Westerners believed that the germ theory of contagion was nonsense. Most members of Congress believed that Colin Powell's presentation to the U.N. was founded on fact, not fantasy. White people believed they were innately superior to people of color.
And so on.

For some things, yes, but for most things, No.
Usually, the way it is is the way it is. Everyone on Earth believing that the Earth was flat didn't make it so.

Truth is truth, and even though things can gain "acceptance" through mass belief, that acceptance doesn't make a falsehood true.
