I can change the wording of your question if you cannot edit it yourself. Maybe you would prefer to ask "What country will dominate the internet/business world in the future"?
Thank you, there's no need to change anything. I think the question is clear enough. It's about the language (i.e. English, Cantonese etc.) that will be the dominant one in the future internet/business world and will originate from specified countries. Right now we can clearly say that it is English. But growing economies of china/india/russia may change this in the future.
well English is not the language of a country, and no country ever just have one language...
Anyway, we need a basic-language on our planet to communicate, even though there are more people on this world with the motherlanguage 'Chinese' than 'English', will be English the languange which will be used for communication ever. bcoz it is easy to learn and facts can be said very clearly! An easy order to put the words into a sentence and lots of universal-words make learning'n speaking English everywhere universal. Furthermore typing English into the PC is much more easy then Russian, Indian or Chinese or what ever non-latin.
My motherlanguage is German. I do speak fluent English and fluent Chinese. English was very easy to learn, it has happend just incidently. Well Chinese took realy much more effort to learn, but will never finish. It has an indefinitely end. Even China grows biggest, they need to do business with all other countries, so they might be using English. A Chinese and a Japanese comunicating, will speak English; Chinese / Russian -> English; South American / Indian -> English ; ......
Sorry for long text, it just fluxed through my fingers. ^_^
English. It is the business language of the world. The USA has a 13.2 Trillion dollar economy 3x larger than who is second(Japan). And almost business leader from every culture ---speaks english.
The most spoken lanuages throughout the world are Cantonese (china), Spanish (latinamerica, USA, Spain ...) and English (UK,Australia, USA...). I think the "dominant" language of the future will vary on the industry
What u saking for ??? Language or country?
... asking ...
Not sure about what languages do they speak in India (?) and China (Mandarin, Cantonese etc.), so I'm asking about the country in general instead.
