Hmm.... well, lets see.... Bush and his Congress used Reconciliation for about 75% of all the bills and laws and programs that they passed while he was running this country into the stratosphere with deficit costs... So, how would this be any different or WORSE??? This healthcare reform has been pumped and hyped by the health insurance companies as something it is not. Thus, there are so many people who have no knowledge of what this bill ACTUALLY contains and yet they insist that it is pure evil, socialism, etc. If everyone actually READ the bill and UNDERSTOOD what it contained and would do, I guarantee most of the naysayers would change their minds. However, these people have been so hyperactive and stubborn for so long that they refuse to even consider the idea of actually examining what it is they oppose, yet know nothing about.
So find out how many riders the other side has added to bills to sneak them in, and get back to me. Did you pay attention AT ALL in High School US History? That is such a common practice even they couldn't ignore it.
Like they cared more about lobbyists than about lobbyists--in other words, all they are fighting about is which way the insurance companies get to suck us dry.

Have you read the entire bill? It's a roughly 2400 page document. I'd definitely be impressed if you have.
I doubt those voting in Congress have read it.
It sounds like you need to read the bill. What about the latest addition taking over the student loan industry? Why are they sneaking that in too?
