How would you class yourself? Ask a Question

Your definition of agnostic is limited.

It covers weak agnosticism, but not strong agnosticism (or other forms). There is no "not sure" whatsoever for a strong agnostic.

Because of this, I chose atheism, since that is closer to what I believe.

Exactly the same here, I choose atheist as well here because the way it was defined in this question.

i would have more answers if only you could chose to have more than 4! more options needed!

Agnostic, not worried if a "god" exists, time will tell.

I can't select any of these. It is entirely incorrect to assume that atheists don't believe in anything. We don't believe in GOD.

The opening paragraph of The Humanist Manifesto III, from The American Humanist Society:

"Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without supernaturalism, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity."

read the rest here: http://www.americanhumanist.org/3/HumandItsAspirations.php

and then think about how that option might be rephrased.

Just because your atheist doesn't mean you "don't believe in anything", it means you don't believe in a God or Gods. You can be atheist and BELIEVE in evolution, which i do.

Exactly, being an atheist just means you hold no believe in gods, it doesn't mean you don't believe in anything else.

Yes, a-theist is 'not' or 'outside' theist, like a in a-moral or a-sexual.
