Neither of those. I just say 2012. two thousand twelve...that's how I say it
That's usually how I say it. but I've said twenty-twelve, too.
i assume you throw in that very minute "n", 2000-'n'12, that's how i say it. saying exactly "two thousand twelve" sound different a feels very strange to say.

There is no "and" in the number. That is unless you're talking about dollars and cents or some other nouns which go together, or not.
