I notice he was unable to answer your question, so I feel obligated (strictly in the interest of fairness) to do so.
The 2nd Amendment provides for the right to OWN (i.e., buy) a gun. It does not provide you with a gun. You also have the right to OWN (i.e., buy) health care. That's different from the government providing you with health care.
"You have the right to drive a car. But you don't have the right to drive it at excessive speeds. You have the right to own a gun. But you don't have the right to use it to commit a crime. You have the right to live in any State that you wish. Or you can go to a country that tells you where to live, what to think, what to wear, and how many children you can have. Then you might cherish the Rights that you do have."
What I don't understand is how my comments in the question of Gun Rights ended up here in a question about Health Care rights. I have to admit it SHIELD, you have good taste in borrowed material.
Bzzzt. Your assertion, your burden of proof. Could you really imagine being in a court of law and saying, "I'd explain what happened your honor, but you're too stupid to understand it." Let us know how that works out for you. ;o)
The social safety net in other countries doesn't work. That is why so many in Socialist countries come to America to get good Health Care. While I agree that some quality health care should be available to those that, for valid reasons, cannot work, or find a means to get quality health care, the safety net you speak of is more for those that just leech off a society. They never work or marry, they never pay taxes, and they are forever on the dole by constantly abusing the system. And before you jump on this statement, no, I am not just generalizing about women.
It is a fact. We bring children, year around, from all over the world to America for specialized medical treatment. Many border citizens from both Canada and Mexico come to America for medical care. I've even known some of them. Many people from African and Middle East Countries come to America for the Health Care here. Regardless of the rating of WHO, you have a better chance of surviving medical procedures here than in many foreign countries. The low ratings at WHO is because of the Socialist look-out toward Universal Health Care programs, not the QUALITY of the medical services. You don't have to change a working program for the majority of Americans just to provide health care for those that have never contributed anything toward the programs. Provide Health Care - Yes. But reforming the entire program - bad idea. Besides, I don't know any Luntz. I've seen enough of the world up close and personal.

I don't really need to look him up. I gained my insight from over Sixty years of observation and not from years of Socialist programming. As for my typing skills, it is more of a two finger seek and punch. Ha, Ha

Huh? Why does you having the "right" to free health care mean that I do not? We would be paying for each others. You know... like we both have the "right" to call the police or the fire department, even if you are paying taxes, and I am not.

Oh crap, you don't even believe that. Every time someone says something about inherent rights, you are at the front of the line knocking 'em down.

[1 point] 3 years ago by deleted user Reply"So, the rights to things like freedom of press, religion, assembly, speech, and all the others in the Constitution don't actually exist either?
What does this do to the right to not be tortured? If cruel and unusual are back in play....."

He's surprised you didn't duplicate your comments for this one, so he did it for you.
They sure can seize your rights, so I would have to disagree.
Health care isn't a right for other reasons.

[3 points] 3 years ago by deleted user ReplyThat's about what the Disaproval rating is for Congress as well. Which 63% is right?
In both cases, "So what?"

More like I've learned that you are too close-minded to try to understand it, so there's no use wasting the key strokes trying.

[2 points] 3 years ago by deleted user ReplySo the alternative is to let people suffer and die?
They are free to move to Canada and YOU can pay their health care.
Only if we go to government run health care.

[1 point] 3 years ago by deleted user ReplySo this makes sense how? Like when you pay for the army that keeps your country save, and another person does not, is there fairness in that?
Having an Army is not a "Right".
